The 50 models on the MOT pass-rate page account for more than ten million recorded tests for the 5–10 year vehicle age, each model with at least 25,000 tests.

That filter keeps the ranking statistically meaningful. A model with 200 tests and 98% pass rate will not appear — by design.

Every row shows test counts alongside pass rate so you can weigh confidence as well as the percentage.
