1. Who We Are

CARMOTIQ ("we", "us") is operated by DevBoostPlugins, a trading name of Switchview Design Ltd, which is the data controller for the personal data we collect through this service.

2. What Data We Collect

We may collect: email address (when you subscribe, complete checkout, use credit recovery, or contact us), transaction references from our payment provider (Paddle), an optional technical identifier stored in your browser (for example a cookie) to attach prepaid search credits to your session, IP address, usage data (which pages you visit), and cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

If you buy prepaid credits, we process data needed to record how many searches you may run and when those entitlements expire (see our Terms— one month / 30 calendar days from each grant). We do not keep your paid report outputs or search replay entitlements indefinitely; they end when the related credits expire. We may send recover-credits links when you request them.

3. How We Use It

We use your data to provide the service, process payments, record and enforce prepaid credit entitlements (including expiry), send purchase confirmations and optional recovery links to your email, improve the service, secure the platform against abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider (Paddle); we do not store your full card details on our own servers.

4. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and to object. You may also lodge a complaint with the ICO. Contact us to exercise your rights.

5. Retention

We retain personal and transaction-related data for as long as necessary to run the service, meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. Records of purchases and credit grants may be kept for accounting even after credits have expired or been fully used. Entitlements to reopen past searches are not kept indefinitely and end when the related credit pack expires, as described in our Terms.
